Prayer Requests

Prayer Requests:

–I haven’t been feeling very well lately.  I would appreciate prayer for complete healing of the cancer and resolution of whatever is causing a persistent cough and respiratory symptoms.

–I would be grateful for prayer for deep, restorative sleep.  I’ve had trouble with my sleep for years.  I fall asleep each night in under 5 minutes typically and usually take a day time nap out of neccessity, but I wake up many times most every night, finding it difficult to go back to sleep. Can you specifically pray that God will allow me to sleep well each night?

–Please pray that I will walk closely with the Lord in every area of my life.

–Please pray that the Lord will help me to walk in the victory that is mine in Christ and help me make wise, Spirit-controlled choices in my eating as I work to take off excessive weight and build back up my physical fitness with exercise.  Lately He has been encouraging me a lot in His precious Word and with a wonderful book called “Made to Crave”.

Thanks for praying for me and my dear family!  We really appreciate it! 🙂
–Paula

  3. Paula, I will be praying. 835 reminds me of Point of Grace song “Heal the Wound.” Look it up on You Tube…it is beautiful…here are some of the words:

Heal the wound but leave the scar
A reminder of how merciful You are
    I am broken, torn apart
Take the pieces of this heart
And heal the wound but leave the scar

    Don’t let me forget
    Everything You’ve done for me
    Don’t let me forget
    The beauty in the suffering

  5. HI Paula,
I’m sorry that you are having such difficulties. I will pray especially that you will have the deep sleep that you need, not only for recovery but for life. I pray that the excess weight that you have will come off, I know how hard that is as I have been heavy all my life. Yet, I have lost almost 50 pounds and it feels so good. I even had to exchange some clothes I bought for smaller sizes and that was amazing.
I pray that all side effects of both cancer and chemo will be over once and for all and that you will be feeling better in the next day or two. May God richly bless you my friend. Kathy

  6. I have been praying with extra concern for you since you have not been writing your blog daily. I was afraid you had the flu or something dragging you down. It it good to hear from you today. You have gotten away ahead of me on the thousand gifts, I’m still in the 600’s. I would like to request prayer for an hour and one half long dental surgery Monday at 9 am. They will put me to sleep..the abscesses tooth is up under a bridge & will be hard to pull. I was so thankful yesterday to hear I won’t be awake through it. That was an answer to prayer. I will be praying for you to be able to Change your sleep patterns. If you can feel rested other problems will become easier, like eating right. So many Bible verses that I read draw my thots to you, even if I don’t write much. Blessings
