John 1:16

**A father was approached by his small son who

told him proudly, “I know what the Bible means!”

His father smiled and replied, “What do you

mean, you ‘know’ what the Bible means?

The son replied, “I do know!”

“Okay,” said his father. “What does the Bible

mean?”

“That’s easy, Daddy…” the young boy replied

excitedly,” It stands for ‘Basic Information Before Leaving

Earth.’

  1. It’s time to say “Happy New Year” once again. We are so glad for all of the good reports. I just heard of another lady who went through basically chemo and radiation and has now been cancer free for 10 years! The doctor told her, “no more visits!” That’s what we’ll wait to hear with you, too.

  2. I liked Joy Harris’s chapter on happiness. We must choose to be happy. We must choose to love and be loved. We must choose to forgive so that we may be forgiven. So much in life is choice and I thank God that we can choose. I thank God for all the choices He puts in front of us each day and I ask His help that I may choose the best choice that He has provided for me.

Thank you for your concern about me. I am doing very well and had a great CHRISTmas this year. “Santa” brought us way to much as is often the case at our home, but we are so blessed to be able to get the things we need and a little more besides.

I pray that you also had a lovely Christmas filled with Joy, love, peace and Christ.

I have forwarded a special e-mail to you entitled Patris Porusia (not sure of the spelling) but it is written by a friend of mine and I wanted to share it with you. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

God Bless each one of you. Kathy
